Pediatrics
The Limb Center provides specialized care for patients ages birth through 17 years of age. We work closely with the patient, the patient’s parents or guardians, and the patient’s healthcare providers.
Children are not just miniature adults and require a skilled approach. Individualized treatment is especially important due to the continued growth of young patients and their changing activity levels.
We offer lifelong treatment plans for children in order to meet their needs as they grow. Our clinicians follow up with our young patients regularly to see that the fit of their socket remains optimal. We also examine prosthetic components periodically to ensure they remain appropriate for the child based on weight and activity level.
